ALLOWANCES AND EXPENSES
The Japan International Cooperation Agency (JICA) will bear the major costs for invitation and conduct of the TCTP. Specifically, the following major invitation expenses will be shouldered by JICA:
For Foreign Participants
- Pre-paid economy, most direct route, roundtrip air ticket between the nearest international airport from the participants? station and the Ninoy Aquino International Airport (NAIA), Manila, Philippines
- Domestic travel cost in the Philippines during the fieldwork in selected provinces outside Metro Manila;
- Living allowance for daily incidental expenses throughout the duration of the Training Program, including the arrival and departure days.
- Accommodation
- Travel accident and medical insurance for the entire length of the program
- Philippine airport tax for departure from Manila, Philippines
- Accommodation during transit will be covered for selected participants only if necessary
The participants will cover their visa application fees, domestic travel expenses and airport taxes in the country of origin, excess baggage charges, personal expenses incurred during travel between their home country and the Philippines and all other expenses not specified above.
For Filipino Participants
No living allowance and accommodation will be provided to Filipinos while in Metro Manila. All other expenses will be shouldered by the nominating organization e.g. local transportation from origin to Manila and back, allowance and accommodation in Metro Manila, accident and travel insurance, etc.
