Personal Expenses
Participants should make their own arrangements for any financial matters that are personal in nature and not provided for by JICA. Such expenses include airport taxes, excess baggage charges, telephone, communication bills, and others.
Clothing
Casual clothes are usually worn in the Philippines. Light clothing is advisable due to relatively warm and humid weather. Coat and tie, barong (Filipino national attire), or respective national costume of participants are encouraged during formal occasions and when making courtesy calls. Accepted applicants will be informed of the schedule when formal attire is necessary.
